Canned beer. Black with a finetextured, light brown head. Not much aroma though a bit chocolate and nuts. The flavour though is mainly chocolate with notes of nuts and burnt malts.

Pours black with a small head and no lacing (at least in the glass I was given). This is a true dessert beer, and it is very chocolaty and malty. Almost no hop presence at all but still enjoyable.

drinking chocolate stout makes me feel like a kid again, a drunk kid. this is a well balanced ale that is sweet and chocolaty without being over the top. a nice way to have desert with dinner.

Well, for its style, this is one chocolately and malty beer. Very creamy on the palate, chocolate flavor seems almost forced, but it works. More of a dessert beer than anything.

Pours with a dark black hue with a mostly diminishing head. The aroma is a strong chocolate scent mixed with some coffee. There is some molasses if one smells very closely. It is full beer to the palate with very light fizzy carbonation. Definitely has some coffee roast flavor mixed with some expresso. Def. a filling beer. Good to have after a nice dinner!!!!!

Taste: 7/8 bottle(28-2-9) Looks: Nice black, with clinging top. Aroma: Espresso and chocolate. Taste: Nice smooth and silky texture. Coffee roast and chocolate flavor. Full bodied and tasty.

This is quite the classic. It has a fantastic chocolate aroma, full of cocoa too. The flavours however do not live up to the inital sugar rush in the nose, being more roasted than sweet.
