500 mL bottle. Pours a jet black with moderate tan head. Aroma is of rich chocolate, fudge, caramel - very sweet. Flavour is very rich and satisfying, with a lingering sweetness. Fantastic.

The beer pours black with a nice light brown head. The nose is a combination of roasted malts and sweet lactic sugar. The taste is what you would expect; chocolate with a slightly bitter note. The finish is short. A very nice beer.

500mL bottle purchased from LCBO in Toronto. Pours black with a small white head. Excellent lacing. Weak aroma. First taste is a bit tangy from carbonation and I can tell that I need to leave this beer to warm a bit before reviewing further. Now that I’ve let it warm, it is better, but not signigificantly so. Slightly creamy, hints of chocolate, but not a particularly strong flavour. As it warms even further (1.5 hours out of the fridge), it does improve and the flavours become more pronouced - particularly the chocolate.

draft. wow. i was not expecting this to be so good. pours creamy brown with a tan head and huge cascading action as it settles. big cocoa flavor and milky, creamy palate. i loved how dry this was. lets you bask in the malt flavors, and not get bogged down by sweetness. so smooth. i will be picking this up to stash away. so good.

Bottle thanks to Bigmmartin, man I waited so long for this beer. Pours a deep swirling black body with a very thick beige head. The aroma is just amazing tons of milk chocolate. The taste, well, have you ever had coco puffs breakfast cereal? The milk that is left over is a lot like this tons of rich chocolate, a milky and sweet body, a roasted malt, some hints of coffee and vanilla. Very good. I could drink this anytime and often.

16 oz bottle. Pours deep black with a nice chocolate colored head with good duration and lacing. Nose of Mocha Java and notes of dark chocolate. Super smooth chocolate flavor with light coffee, low bitterness and a very dry finish. Excellent dry stout.
