12many (231), Ohio, USA Jun 21, 2008 Can. Black pour with a brown head. Chocolate and some coffee flavors. However the mouthfeel was a bit too watery. Kind of disappointing. Kevman (28), Windsor, Ontario, Canada Jun 20, 2008 My new favourite, bought it from the LCBO, goes flat right out of the bottle, and leaves a nice mouthfeel, tastes strongly of chocolate and coffee. Awesome comfort beer, good for dessert. sja14 (105), Ohio, USA Jun 20, 2008 16 oz. nitrocan. Black with a massive, rolling, full brown head that lasted the entire glass. Tastes of smoothe dark chocolate. Maybe it is the chocolate-lover in me but this stout is damn tasty. nbutler11 (729), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jun 19, 2008 If Guinnees and Hershey’s ever hooked up -- this would be their love child. Pours beautifully from the tap, but while this beer smells and tastes much like milk chocolate, the sweetness certainly overpowers this one, resulting in something much closer to a confection rather than a hearty stout. DunkelMeister (7), Fremont, California, USA does not count Jun 18, 2008 This is one of my favorite beers of all time. The pour gives you a nice milky head even from the bottle. The color is that of Guinness, and just as smooth, but with a hint of chocolate aftertaste. The perfect dessert beer for anything chocolate! Or I usually pick up a 22oz. bottle and have it as a primer for the rest of the night! topher40409 (36), gainesville, Florida, USA Jun 18, 2008 can and bottle, bottle is slightly better but this is just not a good beer. it is more of a roasted chocolate milk shake than a stout. just plain too sweet for my taste. metsbcd (82), Connecticut, USA Jun 18, 2008 I had the bottled variety. A fantastic beer, with some very intriguing flavors. Very smooth with nice chocolate taste. As the bottle says it is (surprizingly) not that sweet. phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jun 17, 2008 From the high ratings on this beer, I must have had a bad can, and will have to try this again soon. It poured a dark black opaque colour with a huge tan head. Very sticky lacing that coats and hardens in the inside of the glass. Very chocolatey of course- aroma is slightly nutty- with a taste of milk, chocolate and almonds. As i already mentioned, I didn’t enjoy this. Im usually one for choc stouts- but this lacked a lot of carbonation.
