50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a diminishing light brown head. Solid chocolate aroma, somewhat like choco powder though. Flavour is medium sweet followed by a slight acidic/roasted chocolate dense note. Light acidic to bitterness in the finish, still swept in chocolate flavours. Nice chocolate brew, although I’ve had better ones before.

On tap at Faegans in Syracuse. Deep black with thick tan head. Looks like a Guinness, but tastes better. Typical stout qualities but with an emphasis on chocolate and berries/fruit. Not overly roasted or dry. Decent beer.

Very nice Stout, pours with a great head great malt taste with coffee and chocolate, but does not compare to Bells Double Cream Stout

dark brown/black pour with a big airy brown head that lingers. aroma is soft, but the taste is unmistakable. Like a smooth chocolate milkshake, but better and with alcohol added. Finish is the standard stout finish.

Pours an opaque, dark brown with a muddy head. Not very strong aroma, but smells faintly of chocolate and malt. Palate is smooth. Each sip begins with a sweet flavour, reminiscent of a citrus soda. This is followed by an overwhelmingly bitter and foul taste that lingers. Nasty. Was unable to finish.

Nice dark malt, chocolate, and slight coffee on the nose. Very dark black with red hilights, great head disappears too fast. Deep roasted malt flavors with lots of chocolate, coffee, and a hint of nuttiness. Chocolate dominates flavor and finish, but not to the point of messing up the balance. Mouthfeel could be slightly thicker, but is still nice. Overall a very good example of a style I love. Wonderful flavors, aroma, and texture. Will have another asap, slightly more drinkable than Rouge Choc Stout, and almost as good, lacks a little complexity.

An opaque black beer with a thin tan head. Medium to full bodied with low to average carbonation. Sweet, malty. Chocolate comes through strong in the aroma and the flavour. Low bitterness in the finish. Nothing overly wrong with it, a bit unusual. Not bad but not great either. - 500ml bottle.
