On tap @ Taco Mac in Alpharetta Black beer with a persistent head. Very creamy mouthfeel. It’s like a chocolate milk shake. The only thing is that it is sour. No doubt the best use for this beer is to make a stout float with vanilla ice cream. Lovely but sour.

0.5 l bottle. Black with creamy tan head. Strong sweetish milk chocolate aroma with hint of coffee, raisins and caramel. Dryer yet very chocolatey flavor with soft coffee notes, some bitterness and bitter chocolate in the finish. I like very much dark chocolate but this is more like a mellow milk chocolate or milkshake.

Pours a very nice black with a tan head. The aroma is huge, sweet malty chocolate. The taste is pretty similar with a small hint of hop bitterness in the finish. The palate is a little bit thin, but doesn’t detract too much. Overall a very, very nice chocolate stout.

Bottle. Dark brown to black pour, head rises half inch or more with fine bubbles dispersing rather quickly. Malt aroma. Strong chocolate flavor to the tongue with some malt and a nice bitter finish. Very solid beer.

Draught can. Black-brown pour with a dense tan head. Intense mocha/cappuccino aroma. Tastes like a coffee and chocolate ice cream shake! Very creamy but thin body.

Pours a dark brown with a nice foamy brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and malt. Has a nice medium mouthfeel with syrupy chocolate flavor and a nice finish. This does seem a little thin compared to some of the impy stouts out there and a tad synthetic, but all in all this is still a rather tasty brew.

Aroma is dark chocolate. Black with typical nitrogen head. Not as many fireworks as a can of Guinness, but same result. Taste is a rich dark chocolate mocha. WOW. That is friggin good. Slightly bitter palate. Ever so slight metal after taste that may be just a hoppy high note. Very Very good stout! I would love to try this on tap!
