NJJereme (261), Saint Petersburg, Florida, USA Aug 30, 2009 Pours like a Guinness. Black and syrupy w/ a great tan frothy head. Nice cascading effect. Aromas of chocolate and coffee are immediately apparent. Tastes like a mocha latte w/ a similar texture, which was a little disappointing. Finishes pretty easy. Light to medium bodied. PaulsPissed (32), Dublin, Ireland Aug 26, 2009 Silky chocolate smell, dark with a weak creamy head, this stout is a little more fizzy then most which adds to the distinct taste of the chocolate, sweet without the usuall bitter after taste of most stouts. odgaard (248), Skyum, Thisted, Denmark Aug 25, 2009 Nitrocan. Almost black with a thick creamy offwhite nitrogen head. Aroma: malt, chocolate, liquorice, a little hops too. Taste: Chocolate is dominating, but also liquorice, coffe and roasted malt. Long chocolate and sugar aftertaste. Low carbonation. Nice beer. mickmac (67), Ngunnawal, Australia Aug 25, 2009 Bottle. Average dark dense frothy head and a black body. Aroma of molasses, coffee and chocolate and tastes of chocolate and blackberries. A creamy texture. Nice. angrybeerman (107), Dublin, Ireland Aug 24, 2009 Updated: Oct 18, 2009Smelled of chocolate, which I liked. Looked ok but the head was not as creamy as it would have been on tap. The chocolate blended in with the drink rather than being overpowering. However it was not creamy and was a bit fizzy. Not bad overall. pete4999 (121), Buffalo, New York, USA Aug 24, 2009 Bottle. Dark brown with tan head. Smells of...well...chocolate. Slightly thinner than I would have liked/expected, but still a very good stout. Boliv (188), New York, USA Aug 21, 2009 Draft, bottle, and can (not at the same time). Pours viscous and black with a thick creamy tan head. Aroma of dark and milk chocolate, a touch of vanilla. Nearly no carbonation here, making it very smooth and creamy. My friends and I joke that it tastes like chocolate milk, but...well, it does. You wouldn’t think you’re drinking beer, it’s so smooth. Always a safe bet. jjuf1853 (467), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Aug 20, 2009 Updated: Aug 21, 2009Draft. Delicious and smooth. Looks great in the glass with a dark chocolate color and creamy tan head. Aromas of chocolate and coffee dominate. Sweet flavor with the perfect amount of bitterness in the finish.
