Youngs Double Chocolate Stout

Pours a dark brown color with a moderate, creamy, brown head that fades pretty quickly. Smells like hot chocolate, ’cept it’s cold. Tastes of light toasty malts up front and tons of chocolate in the middle and the finish. Not as thin as I was expecting. Smooth with nice carbonation. Easy drinkin’. I wish it had more abv but, oh well.

Does Hershey’s make a beer? If they did, it would taste like this. It’s almost like the chocolate milk my mom used to give me... but with less alcohol.

Can. Pours black with thick brown head that lasts forever. Aroma is roasted malts and chocolate. Flavour is bitter chocolate and some smoke. Great beer.

Bottle. Poured black with good thick tan head that stayed around. The aroma developed as it warmed up, but was distinctly chocolate, with a hint of something else - vanilla / caramel? Palate was very smooth and creamy. Flavour starts with a smooth chocolate taste and develops into a great dark bitter chocolate finish with hints of coffee. An excellent beer.

Widget can. Creamy thick tan foam. Aroma of dark chocolate fudge. Very chocolaty. very balanced smooth and creamy. Easy drinking. Choco lovers beware.

very solid, great stout you can taste the rich chocolate taste with ease. A bit of a malt taste as well. Would definitely buy again

Pours a nice opaque black with an tan head that lasts. Plenty of sweet malts in the aroma. Chocolates, but a little buttery-ness too The flavor is sweet chocolate that finishes with a nice bitter chocolate. The only downside is the one dimensionality of simply chocolate. It’s smooth on the palate though with a nice bubbly carbonation. Really good beer.
