Aroma was sweet chocolate, with a slight notes of roasted malt taste. Very smooth non alcoholic like feel in mouth. Felt no bitterness over the Aroma or flavour at all. Nice smooth and sweet chocolate finish. thedm (3837), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

Ultra smooth initial taste followed by a mild chocolaty sweet aftertaste. It was extremely smooth and very much to my liking. Wow Theis (3794), Denmark

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Sep 1, 2004 Black with a big tan head that’s inviting. This strikes me as a bit thin, but it holds its viscosity very well. Sweet and vaguely smoky, I don’t get any chocolate, despite the name. sayravai (3787), Helsinki, Finland

Mild, but distinctive aroma of milk chocolate; also roasted malt and coffee. Quite smooth and dry, roasted, medium-bodied palate. Soft carbonation. Smooth chocolate-espresso flavor, quite well balanced with hops. Lots of malt has been used, but maybe even more would fit in. Should not be drank too cold, or the aromas won't show up as well.
(Draught canned version, rating 7-4-7-5-15 = 3.8) Very dark, slightly reddish color with a tight, tanned head. Dry, coffee and chocolate aroma. Sweetish, coffee flavor with milk chocolate. Smooth, medium to full-bodied, oily palate. A nice, full and silky smooth brew. Better than the bottled because of the silky smooth mouthfeel. Dedollewaitor (3780), Odense, Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 19, 2006 black with a creamy white head. Roasted malts in here. Of course the smell and taste of dark chocolate dominates. A bit of sweetness. However the finish is light bitter from dark chocolate. Seems and feels more original than ex. Youngs christmas pudding. Aroma has a slight coffe
and dark chocolate bitterness, milkchocolate, fruit in rum.
Jet black, lowish, but creamy, brown head with lace.
Milkchokolate flavors - after I have tasted english chocolate I can see where the inspiration came from.
Aftertaste is pretty much like the one the cheap chocolate drinks for kids will give you - not really nice but still fun to have in a beer. I have lowered my rating somewhat, I want to drink it on tap again however. saxo (3680), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark
