Poured very dark, with a large tan head. Left nice lacing on the glass. Sweet chocolate/roasty character in the taste. Great dessert beer.

Black with an excellent and lasting head. Aroma gives off the first hints of the imending chocolate rush. And it does rush in on that first sip. It is not a subtle hint of chocolate, but it is also not overwhelmingly sweet. Creamy, but not thick. A fantastic offering. I shall be drinking this again.

2002 can MMM. one of my favorite stouts. NO Carbonation in the draft can. just flat. so good. Perfect even chocolate notes throughout. so smooth and silky, creamy. It’s a nice change from dark chocolate. almost like milk chocolate. melts in your mouth. wonderful chocolatey-milk appearance. could drink this all day. 2004 draught Still loved the body on this and a wonderfully smooth texture, silky and rich. Flavor, however, seems a bit lackluster. It’s good and chocolatey, but there’s no hint of yeast and there is just so little variation in the flavor. More complexity please.

(Bottle from Swedish Systembolaget) Black color, brown head. Chocolate scent and taste, low bitterness. A bit too sweet taste for me, I’d like a bit lower on the "milk chocolate side" and more to the "smooth chocolate".

Had in 17 oz bottle. Really thick and creamy. Black and small tan head. Taste is like velvet- so smooth- loaded with chocolate. Real chocolate as well as black malt- roasted barley adn chocolate malts. Surprisingly it stil had some bitterness to it- I donno if it is from hops or from bitter chocolate but it balances some of the overall sweetness. A unique beer. Good with chocolate.

(1 pint o.9 fl. oz. bottle) Strong cocoa aroma. Pours opaque with a thin, brown head. Flavour of bitter, dark chocolate. Velvet smooth and linguring cocoa. Lacks complexity but loved how it tumbles across the palate. Good. Thanks Kimchee for this beer...

Keg (Vanha, Helsinki). If you can put the gimmicky nature of brewing with chocolate aside, and just let your nose and tongue tell you what’s good, then you’ll get an overload of messages from them when you taste this. Completely accessible stout, no rough edges to give it any negative points at all.
