Bottle, pours almost black in colour with a frothy white head. Some bitter chocolate in the aroma. Taste is certainly dominated by the dark cocoa choclateyand good rich malty taste has a nice silky smooth mouthfeel to it, enjoyable.

Almost black colour with a huge brownish mostly lasting head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Taste of chocolate and a bit too sweet. A bit watery body.

A typical stout-apperance. Aroma from some smoke and maybe soap. A lot of chocolateflavour and the palate gives you the feeling of that you have been chewing on a newspaper.

Black, with a brownish rich head. Aroma is cocoa and some banana. Flavor is chocolate, malty. Expected it to have more body. Looked better than it tasted.

Black, with an off-white head. Perfume- and soap-feel in the flavor. Kind of scurty. Clear flavor also of dark chocolate or cacaopowder. Still fresh and watery.

On tap @ Falling Rock poured a translucent reddish black with a lasting amber head. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malt and a hint of coffee. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of chocolate milk with a hint of coffee and a smooth lingering finish.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry. Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with a large creamy light-brown head -- It looks great. Wonderful aroma of milk chocolate, caramel malt and coffee. Delicious flavour of dark chocolate, roasted malt and some bitterness in the aftertaste. Mmmm, chocolatey! Texture is smooth and creamy -- I think those who find it too thin may be comparing it to Imperial Stouts as I found it just about perfect. Is it the best chocolate Stout? No, but it’s definitely up there amongst the best and one of my favourites.

Pours rich, creamy and thick dark chocolate with a small tan head. Has a thin falling film of head. Huge dark roasted chocolate malt aroma with a hoppy nose. Initial sweet creamy milk chocolate with dark notes then dark and hoppy finish. Full-bodied creamy palate.
