Deep black color, medium brown head. Aroma is roasted malty, hint of chocolate, but only after pouring the last bit of the bottle. Taste is quite typical stout, roasted malts. Not as chocolaty as i expected, more just another regular stout.

Clear chocolate aroma, with the hints of alcohol. Dark color with brown little head. Chocolate is even more obvious in flavor. Usually bitterness and carbonation come in the end but in this stout they are overtaken by strong sweetness of chocolate. Not bad combination at all, although this beer tasted very much different than I expected.

Jet black, cream coloured rocky head with moderate condition. Low hints of chocolate and roast barley in the nose, with a sweet chocolate note in the mouth balanced by a dry roasted barley note towards the end. Sweet and chalky in the finish.

No light comes through at all. Big thick brown head. Aroma of sweet chocolate and yeast. Much better combination than I imagined, the hop bitterness and the chocolate alternate control over the aftertaste. Like a chocolate liqueur. I really like the bitter chocolate aftertaste.

DELICIOUS! What a great beer. Chocolate color, chocolate nose and chocolate flavor abounds. Well done indeed! One of my favorite "macro" beers.

Tan creamy medium head with some larger bubbles. Black opaque body. Sweet aroma with notes of coffee. Deep, sweet taste of cocos with notes of bitter chocolate with dry cocos aftertaste. Lots of taste, but the chocolate really makes it very unpleasant for me. Really did not enjoy this, even if it has lots of taste.

In the bottle. Reddish black stout. Brown head. Requisite roasted flavor, with very strong chocholate malt and hoppiness to well-balance the whole shebang. I wish it had the ethanol to mach the big beer mouth feel.

Black in color, I couldn’t see ruby. Head is brown and disappears quickly. Scent of chocolate. Chocolate taste is immediately noticeable, and as it warmed I also tasted coffee and hops. Full bodied. Left a dry feeling in my mouth; the last few sips were noticeably bitter. Very good. As one of my very early ratings, I was very impressed with this at one point. While still a quality beer, it no longer impresses as it once did. Still looks great, but the aroma and flavor are much lighter now that I have more to compare to.
