Bottle. Black colour with hint of brown, completely opaque, medium, to large beige fluffy head. Roasted malt aroma with strong notes of dark chocolate, but not overwhelming. Medium bodied, smooth and with a wonderful balance between malt sweetness, chocolate, roastiness and bittterness. Great stout.

Malty, caramel and sweet chocolate nose. Big frothy light brown head on this black body. Fullmouth chocolate feeling, toasted, sweet but not to sweet. But then... a watery finish. Too bad. You want to have this chocolate feeling for longer in your mouth!

As it say's on the label "Luxury" After not having this one for a few years, it's easy to forget how thick and luscious it is. Especially compared to it's widgeted cousin - thickness counts! This bottled version is the superior version. lightly roasted, full of chocolate, nuff said.

Can pours what could best be desribed as extremely black, with a nice milky cream colored head.   There is no mistaking it, aroma of cocoa in a big way.   Lacing is frothy and sticky.   Taste is certainly chocolatey.   However, the mouthfeel is somewhat thin, albeit a smooth watery texture.   Finish, as you can imagine it, chocolatey.   Not as nice as the Rogue version, but good nonetheless.

This is a gorgeous, gorgeous stout. Deep ruby black with a thick, dense, rocky, tan head. That baby sticks around for the whole show as well. The aroma is largely chocolate and not a lot of roast or burnt aromas. The same goes for the flavor with the chocolate being dominant and not a lot of burnt or bitterness behind it. Nicely sweet and a great after-dinner sipper.

Pours with a black body topped by a thick lasting tan head with good lace. Sweet yet slightly bitter malt aroma with roasty notes and hints of chocolate. Slightly sweet and bitter malt flavor with chocolate notes and a slight roastiness. Full bodied, smooth and slightly dry.
