Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a black color with a medium sized brown head. The aroma is remarkably similar to RC Cola. The flavor is sour tangy dark malts with a bit of chocolate and a bitter tangy finish.

Pours a rich dark brownish black, with a light brown thick, medium lasting head. Smell is of Rich semi sweet chocolate. Taste is very smooth, creamy, with some light roastiness, and of course some rich bittersweet dark chocolate flavors. Not overly thick, but still very full bodied, and just what I’d want in a stout. Finish is of bittersweet chocolate. Overall, a great beer that is well balanced for my taste. Would recommend.

Pours beautifully dark with a bit of a head on it. Has a wonderful roasted scent, with hints of chocolate. Really smooth down the throat. Really awesome flavor.

Unless you hold it to the light you would swear it was black. It has an off white head and lace. Very nice aroma of chocolate. It’s easy to tell why they call it double chocolate when you smell it or drink it. A nice sweet but you can squeeze some bitter out of it in the end. I think I paid less than $4 for this bottle. What a deal.

500 ml bottle from Plaza Liquor - Pours a deep brown color with a big tan head. Lots of stringy lacing. Has a sweet roasted malt aroma. Has a semi-sweet chocolate flavor. Has a smooth, bitter but dry finish. Light to medium body. A nice beer.

dark black pour w/ a tall well laced tan fluffy head w/ some nice cascading on the pour. Smells of odd yeast and chocolate, roasted malt, and something else I can’t quite pick out. Palate is light but well coated and nicely creamy. The flavor reminds me of a light chocolate mouse. hints of smoke in the finish as well. Overall pretty good but a bit to much chocolate in my book.
