Black with a nice, creamy head. The aroma has notes of milk chocolate and come coffee, and both are found in the flavour too. It’s rather sweet and the chocolate is a strong note throughout the entire experience. I prefer dark and bitter chocolate, but for those who prefer milk chocolate this must be a very nice beer, also for a beginner in the world of stouts.

Bottle. Black colour with a nice creamy light brown head that just sits there. Aroma of roasted malts, CHOCOLATE sweetness. Great smooth creamy flavour of the roasted malts and the bitter-chocolate, little bit of coffee, sweetness and some bitterness in the end. Lovely aftertaste of chocolate and the dark malts. Yumm indeed!

Pure chocolate, coffee and roasted malt. Only slight fruitiness (grapes, citrus). Very high quality stout. Just a bit on the thin side.

A Sim rate (on tap at the Flyng Saucer Memphis): Divinely chocolate aroma. It smells exactly like pipe tobacco. So rich. The appearance is so dark it’s opaque with a creamy head and biege lasting lace. Rich chocolate flavour with caramel and more and more pipe tobacco. The palate is thick and creamy. This is one hell of a beer!

On tap. I’m just not sure which kind, so I’m rating it here. A thick grey-brown colour with brownish head. Super body. Aromas are burnt a weak scent of chocolate. The taste begins as toffee and regular caramel then the chocolate kicks in and gives the beer all the tones from chocolate. Sweet, bitter and wonderful

This stout has a very distinctive chocolate flavor and medium head. I would try this one again.

Poured black in color with a tan head. Slight chocolate (not as much as I was expecting), malty, and roasted smells and tastes. This beer did not live up to my expectations.
