Bottle. Pours black with a perfect head and nice lacing. Aroma of unsweetened bakers chocolate, dark roasted malt, and molassess. Flavor of bitter chocolate, burnt coffee, and pepper. Finish is bitter and slightly sour. Much, much better as a nitro draft. Another english beer that can’t maintain the integrity of the beer when bottled.

Black in colour. When held against the light there's some ruby. Burnt aroma with some coffee and maybe a touch of vanilla. Tasty flavour of dark, bitter chocolate. Very smooth and drinkable.

Pours deep black into a snifter from a bottle. Head quickly recedes to hug rim. Bright dried chocolate aromas. Sweet, full, dry and fizzy with lasting bitter chocolate finish.

Pours black with big off-white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is chocolate, then chocolate and then some chocolate. Flavor is mostly dark chocolate. No detectable hops. Watery texture. Light bodied.

Pours nice and jet-black with a stable head. Vanilla aroma. To me the flavor has more weak coffee and vanilla than chocolate, which only reveals in the finish. A bit thin but quite creamy.
