Pours dark coffee black with a shallow, creamy, tan froth. Aroma screams chocolate covered cherries. Very nice. Medium full nectar weight with ample residual effers. Flavors of dark, unsweetened chocolate, coffee, and pipe tobacco. Like biting into a piece of German chocolate cake. It’s so rich yet not as viscous as one might think. Nice bittering finish. Overall: highly recommended for you chocolate lovers but it gave me heartburn.

Can. Pours out black with a thick creamy head. Hershey chocolate aroma. Silky smooth taste that is a bit dry, no overwhelming chococlate taste, just a hint. Finishes clean. Very nice.

Bottled: Pours a dark black with a thin brown head. Roasted malt aromas and chocolate, very cocoa like. With a medium body the flavors follow the aroma as sweet, sort of like powdered bittersweet chocolate. It lacks complexity and I’d like more of a creamy smooth body but its still a pretty decent brew.

Very interesting. Has a VERY dark appearance with a hint of chocolate aroma. The taste is more of the chocolate on the finish. Bitters as it warms...

[bottle] Opaque black with a thick, lasting, beige cover. Creamy aroma with a little roasted barley--a bit weak. The flavour is smooth and gentle roasted barley complimented nicely with a sweet chocolate that is not too sweet or chocolatey. Very low bitterness and quite a bit of cream. Medium body with moderate carbonation and an almost clean finish.

jet black, huge brown head that dissipates quickly, really nice lacing on my glass. Aroma is chocolate malt, roasted malt, smoke and milk chocolate. MOuthfeel is super smooth, nice carbonation. Flavour is very very smooth, and chocolatey, with a nice malt backbone. Finish is slight sour. Really nice stuff, but i did find it to be a tad thin and wattery

On nitro tap at the Ye Olde Falconers pub in Fort Lauderdale. Poured a dark brown color with a creamy, two finger tan head. The aroma was heavy with chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor was bitter chocolate, milk chocolate and hints of coffee and roasted malt. This was an excellent beer.

Black/dark brown. Small, creamy, tan head. Aroma of chocolate and malt. Same flavor- lightly bittersweet dark chocolate and some cookie malt. Medium body, smooth, easy to drink. Nice stout.
