Being from Hershey, PA I am a fan of this one. Dark brown color with a thick off-white head. Chocolate and roasted malt on the aroma. Flavor is malty with rich dark chocolate, a little nutty. Creamy and chocolatey palate, medium-to-full body. Like a ride down the ol’ Hershey highway (I mean US Route 322, not the other meaning).

Dark black, smooth and creamy. Good malt character, and tons of different chocolate: dark, sweet, bitter -> all mixed to perfection. Great stout.

I dont get it. I tried this twice. Both times, very light chocolate malt aroma highly carbonated, bitter but not very chocolately. With a name like double chocolate, I expected the same nose as walking into a Fanny Farmer. No way

Dark brown coloured brew. Nice roasted and chocolate aroma. Dark chocolate, bitter flavor. Overall a very nice brew.

Bottle. This was an intriguing treat. The aroma nearly takes over whatever room it’s in with a combination of french silk, dark chocolate, and espresso. The taste, however, is hardly even sweet, with only a hint of the aromatics accenting the roasted malt of a very well-balanced stout. Creamy, heavy, and satisfying.

From a draft can. Fairly effective simulation of the waterfall effect that nitro stouts get at the bar. Attractive creamy tan head is thick and lasting. Rich chocolatey aroma is a joy to sniff. Flavor is unfortunately watery with just a hint of chocolate. Tinny taste at the finish may be a result of the widget but almost ruins the whole experience. Thin feeling in the mouth and the nitro carbonation is smooth but lacks character. Unfortunate beer experience here, at one time in my life I loved this stuff.

Sweet and fresh chocolate coffee aroma. Slight hops on second pour. Head is large, creamy and mostly lasting. Very dark body. Bitter coffee-like start with milk chocolate picking up in the finish. Overall flavor isn't too large, but it still seems a little heavy in the stomach.
