Extemely creamy. Monstrous head that is still there after the beer is gone. More cream flavor than coffee. Seems to improve as it approached room temperature. Quite good.

Nitro Tap... this is a very convincing brew. Dark tone and thick, frothy, light brown head. It’s appearance was so good that it looked fake. Amazing sweet, chocolate malts on the nose. Smooth palate with flavors of malt, chocolate, sweet sugars and a dab of hops to even it out. Every sip was a delectable treat.

Pours black, with a medium tan head. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt and some hops. Body is medium and creamy. Taste is chocolate and roasted malt. Not as sweet as I expected.

50 cL bottle. Pours out nice and dark with a tan head like any other stout. Hints of dry chocolate in the aroma. The flavor seemes slightly thin but at least it did not try to overpower you with chocolate. Nice but missing some complexity of similar stouts.

Didn’t initially think much when I poured, the head looked fluffy, not creamy, however, the aroma was wonderful and as for the taste...WOW, I wish I could drink this on tap as I would drink it all day long. The idea of chocolate stout didn’t appeal to but it certainly does now. Excellent Rerate 26th March 2008 Only new observations added; Spice in the aroma, nutmeg in particular, chocolate is dominant throughout the aroma and the flavour, with a cinnamon-malt finish yum

Draft. The aroma was sweet, creamy, and chocolaty. The mouthfeel is good. Taste is good also, mostly of sweet chocolate and milk/cream.

wow, aside from southern tier this is probably the beer with the strongest chocolate taste ive ever had. not too much like dark chocolate, but like chocolate milk in the nose and plate.

Very dark appearance poured from the tap with a big head. Sweet, roasted malt aroma. Velvety smooth taste with a bittersweet quality towards the end. Like having a malted milk with alcohol.
