Bottle. Light brown head. Very dark body. Strong chocoloata aroma. Pleasant choccolate flavor containing some bitterness which I like.

Creamy deep brown pour with 1/4" retained head. As advertised, this is a sweet and chocolately stout... both in aroma and taste. Very mild and easy to drink with a powerfully smooth mouthfeel. Not too much other than chocolate in the taste, save for some nutmeg and what I believe was a little coffee. This would make the perfect foray into stouts for the novice beer drinker.

Poured black with a small tan head. Roasted malt aroma with bittersweet chocolate notes. Flavor matched the aroma, chocolately and light roast. Sweet. Smooth almost silky.

they really do add chocolate to it. Must be drunk last at meal end or at end of a session. Colour and chcoolate aroma. Its unique. But it doesn’t all quite blend together.

Bottle (330ml). Shared with Blankboy, courtesy of blankboy. Poured almost black brown with an average creamy lasting light brown head. Aroma of deep, bitter chocolate (hot cocoa, belgian dark, cocoa beans), coffee, lactose, celery, even a hint of hardwood sawdust - extremely malty and bitter but it’s all dominated by rich chocolate. Taste - well, chocolates of course, but there are appreciable hops, deep roast malt, sour cream and even a minerally aspect - hey who’m I kidding, this is all about the chocolate. Mouthfeel is creamy, thick, chewy, liike fresh-baked choc muffins. Overall? Great - chocotastic!!! I don’t know what DCJAck was drinking, but I doubt it was this - I’ve had it several times and can or bottle, it’s always a fully creamy stout.

Dark brown with touch of dark ruby, very impressive look. Sweet aroma, milky chocolate. Initially light-medium but with flavours that grows on you. That’s typical of good stout .Slightly oily, would be better if was a bit more flavorful.

Black color, a medium sized cascading head. Aroma is chocolaty. Nice a chocolaty. Like drinking a chocolate milkshake, except it a beer. The sweetness of the chocolate malts is intensified by the additions of real dark chocolate. Sweet and malty, yet there is some hop bite. Very smooth, creamy tasting stout. Great desert beer, or a great stout on a cool winter evening. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Black body with a big fluffy off white head. Nice mocha aroma. Flavour is sweet malt with bitter notes of chocolate. Probably the most pleasantly chocolatey beers I have tried so far.
