This is a deally dry, and interesting tasting stout. It has much of Irish Stout in it’s overall taste. I’m not super crazy about dry stout but with the chocolate flavor this beer is worth a taste.
Blom (588), Odense, Denmark Jul 22, 2008 This is quite the classic. It has a fantastic chocolate aroma, full of cocoa too. The flavours however do not live up to the inital sugar rush in the nose, being more roasted than sweet. cyrenaica (265), Milton, Ontario, Canada Jul 19, 2008 500ml bottle

I tried this beer on June 28, 2008 after purchasing from the Queen’s Quay LCBO outlet in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a very dark brown with a generous light brown head. The aroma was roasted malt, and chocolate. The mouthfeel was full-bodied, slightly creamy, and medium carbonated. The flavour roasted malt, chocolate, and cocoa to give it a ’dry’ feel. chops (9), Brantford, Ontario, Canada does not count Jul 19, 2008 Great stout. Lots of different but distint flavors. Probably not the best beer to drink in large quantities. Overall a great beer xShanex (18), Mansfield, Texas, USA Jul 17, 2008 Pours a heavy black with a healthy, frothy carmel head that is lasting. Aroma consists of chocolate and hints of coffee with irish cream. Flavor is much like the smell with a dry touch. Did not live up to my expectations but none the less is a quality beer. Very good desert beer. Have another? Sure. Indulgence (25), Ajo, Arizona, USA Jul 15, 2008 Nitro can: Aroma of light sweetened chocolate and mild hops. Appearance is black with a nice 2 finger chocolate head that leaves lacing down the glass. Flavor is like the smell creamy chocolate with a dry slightly, bitter finish. Palate is creamy and coats the mouth with lucsiousness.
