This is the best beer I have had in a long time. Very chocolaty. It is very smoothe and leaves you wanting another. I wish this stuff was easier to find in Pennsylvania.

Beautiful, lacy head.. akin to Samuel’s oatmeal stout. Very smooth, sweet, subtle, ghosty.. very easy to drink, and at the same time full of flavor. One of the best stouts.. nay, one of the best BEERS I have ever had. Bravo, time to try the rest of the Youngs line.

Yummy. Rating is for a tap pint. Opaque black. The chocolate is very pronounced throughout, but really comes together with the dry finish. Word is they brew this with Cadbury’s chocolate, and you can certainly tell. I don’t really care for the bottled version, but the can is very good. This beer works well with the low "widget" carbonation. Grade A milk-stout.

What can I say? Just wonderful! A bit of chocolate, hint of coffee. Works just as well on a warm summerday as on a cold winter evening.

This beer is wonderful to watch after pouring as it has the waterfall effect where the head separates from the beer. It is extremely dark and the head finishes into a fluffy dark color because of the darkness of the beer. There is very little aroma to this one. The chocolate in the taste makes this beer extremely enjoyable as it covers over the taste of the alcohol.

Body is dark brown rather than black with a rather creamy body which seems typical of a sweet stout. There is a clear and definite chocolate aroma. However, this stout proves to be an incredible piece of art in it’s way to present a distinct chocolate aroma while still having a stout taste: it is finely balanced. Each mouthfull brought an instant orgasm to my tongue I must say. Very good product.
