Great beer if you like bittersweet chocolate. Not a lot of chocolate flavor but enough to arouse your senses. Dark beer with a very creamy tan head. Very fun to watch it as you pour it out of the nitro can and see the head take form. I like this one much better out of the can than the bottled version.

A black beer, moderately thick with a 3/8" dark tan frothy head that lasts a long time, the duration of the beer. On the pour it almost looks like chocolate mild, then turing to coffee, then does a continuous bubbling for about a minute. The aroma is of mild malt and a hint of chocolate, and vanilla cavendish. The flavor is bursting with savory hints of toasted malt, hops and chocolate. Texture is like skim milk, but rich and creamy. Finish is of roasted malt and milk. Good lacing. Mmmm delicious. Dinner and desert in one. Prost!

Pours a deep purple black color with a good head. Very aromatic beer with hints of roasting coffee beans, baking chocolate cake, and raisins. Full thick and oily palate with tastes of bitter semi-sweet chocolate, molases, figs, and expresso. Long lingering finish with highlights of strong coffee, burnt sugar, and, of course, more bitter chocolate. The brewery employs a heavy hand of chocolate in this beer, but it is well balanced with the roasted chocolate malts and gives this beer a well rounded satisfying flavor. Try with a rich chocolate desert or bananas foster.

In the bottle’s good, but in the can’s even better. Drink this with a chocolate cheesecake.
