Rich and creamy from start to finish. Hints of dark chocolate and coffee peremate the bouquet and the flavor.

I smell everything! Breate deep every time you are thinking about how this smells. Chocolate aroma is the biggest, but not by much. This is very complex. It’s fresh, warmer smelling than any beer I’ve tried - humid actually, has a dark roasted nuttiness, flavoured malts and slightly dusty. You can notice the faintest hint of alcohol...but I’ve been smelling this for 15+ minuites...it just keep changing. But none of this comes even close to being overpowering at all. A perfect pour produced a HUGE dark tan head that occupied 1/3 of my glass. Now that I’m done the aroma part of the review it’s finally gone. Very very dark, but still has a noticable reddish hue. The intensity of the differnet flavours waver throughout the tasting, but once again never overpower the beer. More sweet than bitter chocolate goodness, soft roasted malts and a slight candy?? not sure there...I’ll have to add more on the next bottle cause by time I got this far, I’ve only got about 2 sips left - too busy enjoying it. Mouthfeel is freaking awsome. Man, can I feel the bitterness of the chocolate and the roasted flavour on my tongue. Good bitterness and a slight sweet bitter aftertaste. Very smooth. This beer has made me very happy. Now that I can actually appreciate a beer like this, it will be on constant supply at my house.

Opaque black body with carbonation and a dry aroma. Thick tan head that tases like chocolate frosting. Delicious smooth malted chocolate. Oh my yes.

One of my favs, discovered it on tap on a 2$ pint special. Turns out it’s more expensive in the store. This beer has a great pour and a excellent head (from the nitro can or tap) and is great to drink while eating chocolate.

An awesome dessert brew. Pours dark with a light head that smells of chocolate malt. Tastes like a great stout, full, with a big chocolate finish. My wife loved it too.
