Pours dark almost black, with a brown head that produces some lacing. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malt. Flavor is mostly milk chocolate, with hints of roasted malt and finishes with enough bitterness to balance the chocolately goodness. Mouth is creamy like a glass of chocolate milk. I’m coo coo for cocoa puffs!!

Dark brown pour with creamy head. Aroma and flavor (shockingly) of chocolate and medium-dark roast malts. Something oatmealy about the creamy palate, which pleased me greatly. Pleasing sweet finish. I love chocolate, and I love this beer.

Pours out deep black color with nice light tan color head. Sweet chocolate aroma with a hint of coffee. Really rich chocolate flavor, very sweet. This is one of the best sweet stout I ever had.

Draft (Beer gas), Flying Saucer, Cordova, TN. Pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t expecting it to be that good. I know this is going to sound redundant, but this really is like a chocolate Guinness. Very nice. My wife hates beer, but I think after I make her try this she may like it. Believe it or not, the Saucer serves a float - This stuff over ice cream! Now I’ve seen it all. Get one!

really very wonderful. although they, and everyone, makes a big deal about it containing chocolate, doesn't taste like candy, or much sweeter than most very dark stouts. not overly dry though, none of the powdered coffee taste of sierra nevada or cooper's. wonderfully full in mouth, and dry enough to have another. :re-rate, from the draft cans is very smooth and delicious. i usually don't like the watery nature of the nitrogenated beers, but this one works great, and i think i will drink it as such in the future

Bottled. Dark brown (black) stout with beige coloured head. Somewhat low carbonation. Black currant in the nose. Rich flavour with lots of chocolate (sic), more black currant, hints of coffee and a touch of hops in the finish. Traces of (synthetic) vanilla? Smooth palate. Overall a brilliant rich, full bodied, sweetish smooth stout.
