Ive had this beer many times in all three forms, on tap is best of course and the draught cans come in a close second. Dark, rich creamy and sweet, this is an outstanding beer and one of my personal favorites.

I love watching this beer after pouring it. The way it layers as it seperates into the head and the beer wonderful to see the patterns. The aroma is wonderful and the flavor is great. A slight aftertaste of chocolate. One of my favorite beers

A very nice chocolaty aroma arose from my pour of a brown head full of large bubbles and a opaque dark brown body that left a clinging lacing as it receded down the side of my glass. Ultra smooth initial taste followed by a mild chocolaty sweet aftertaste. It was extremely smooth and very much to my liking. Wow

my love affair with Youngs continues with what has become my favorite stout... no comparison to Guinness. opaque with fine beige lacing, aroma/flavor of chocolate, yes, but also strong coffee. nitro cans are the best. this is the stout that makes me look forward to chilly weather... and i dislike chilly weather!

This great beer poured out of the can in a gorgeous chocolate colored swirl that quickly surged into a frothy ice cream soda head. After a few minutes in the glass it resembled a giant shot of espresso topped with foamed chocolate milk. I cannot praise the appearance of this stout enough, in a pint glass it looked so good that I wanted to drink it with a straw. Sip by sip, gulp by gulp I fell in love as the smooth silky brew flowed over my tongue and made me smile, a wicked little smile. Chocolate, coffee, cream, and malt flavors filled my palate and dominated my senses until at last I was no longer just drinking a beer, I was seduced by that inviting aroma into the experience that is Young's Double Chocolate Stout. If Starbucks brewed beer it might taste like this; until then this will faithfully remain my desert of choice.

A great stout. Creamy and flavorful, with chocolate, coffee flavorings. Dark as night. Great to sip at night. May be "too chocolatey" for some, and I don't make it a regular thing...

Wow! This stuff is great! I found out that one of my usual hang-outs has it so I tried one last night. Roasted coffee, dark chocolate, very complex. This one's a winner.

Nectar of the gods. Deep, dark, almost black body with a thick tan head. Rich, full fudge-like aroma. Taste evidences the claim to chocolate in the brewing. Delicious without being overly sweet or masking the beer flavor. Wonderful finish that tells you it was a great drink. Excellent, however, Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout is better. Why? It's from Brooklyn!
