Starts off amazing. I thought I took a bite of a hershey bar. Beautiful dark coffee color. I enjoyed this beer at room temperature and am loving it. Little bit of head that adds a little more chocolate flavor if drank. Absolutely delicious.

I love stouts, and this is one of the best. Beautiful dark brown/black color. Nice thick head. Sweet on the tongue because of the chocolate malt and a nice bitter kick at the end.

A wonderful rich almost perfect stout. This is the stuff that makes beer hunting worth the trip.

bottle: Finally got the bottled version and i was right: this is a great beer. Roasted malts at first that leads to amazing bittersweet chocolates in the finish. smells like dark chocolate. AWESOME beer. even my friend who hates beer loves this stuff. It is what it is, fun.

dark colour, smooth appearance with a light, creamy head - dark chocolate flavour understated at first, stronger later - no aftertaste for me - enjoyable by even non-beer fans. My favorite chocolate stout.

(500 ml bottle, ABV 5,2%). Black (actually very dark ruby) with a good tan head and nice lacing. Aroma is all chocolate and roasted malts. When you expect something cloyingly sweet (chocolate in beer - "uff da"!): Surprise! - a perfectly rounded and well balanced flavour, loads of chocolate but never sickly, just the right roasted bitterness in the aftertaste. This beer is a real treat - I would be happy to drink it each and every afternoon, but just one bottle a day!

Deep black liquor. Chocolate milky head. Earthy aromas of malt, dark chocolate, coffee, molasses, licorice. Sweet malts first, medium to full bodied. Chocolate is extremely evident all the way. Extremely bittersweet finish. Nice hops, very very well balanced stout. One of the best, definately. The chocolate is just incredible.

Not as good as Y’s oatmeal, but an excellent beer nontheless.
