Scent of milk chocolate with coffee. There is even some vanilla in the nose of all things. Very nice lasting head that has an almost meringue-like consistency. Almost entirely opaque. Flavor is creamy smooth as the label says. Very malty, chocolate taste with bitterness similar to dark chocolate. The alcohol is barely noticeable. Delicious. I want to pour it over vanilla ice cream.

This beer is where it all comes together for me. It’s got a great nose, a smell that really draws you in and excites you for that first pint. The palate and flavor certaintly don’t disappoint. It manages to remain chocolatey while not overly sweet. Roasty and complex, this is easily one of my favorite beers.

Smells like a chocolate milk shake maybe with a little bit of coffee. Pours dark brown with a frothy brown head. Flavor is sweet and chocolatey with some roasty too. Smooth and creamy. An awesome beer.

On tap at the Oasis. Deep dark brown pour with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, smoked and roasted malt with nice lingering bitter finish.

This beer is very black. It has aromas of roasted malt and chocolate. The taste is extremely smooth with the chocololate mingling with the malts. I found that you can taste the chocolate more if you drink the stout out of a glass and not the bottle. There is a slight taste of hops which adds a great balance. This beer was recommended to me by one of my materials professors in college before I was 21, and it was one of my first beers. Definitely one to remember!

Bottle poured into pint glass- poured black, non transparent, tan head formed and lasted. Aroma of darkened roasted malts, dark molasses, with vanilla and chocolate notes coming through cleanly. Hits the mouth with a nice thick and wide body, aromas more pronounced in the taste, finish lets you know that you will need another swallow in a few moments. Where did my cigar cutter go...

Mellow smooth stout with a rich chocolate finish. I had this at the Muddy Pig a couple of weeks ago, then bought some cans this weekend. Both were great. It is so silky that I am tempted to slam it like a good glass of chocolate milk.
