Veeerry dark, nice tan colored head with lacing indicating each drink. Smooth roasty taste with chocolatey aroma. Went down very smoothly with the right amount of hop bite for a nice finish.

Black in color, medium/small khaki head. Aroma is strong of chocolate, roasted malt, and coffee. Sweet grain flavor on the front end. Flavor gets more and more chocolatey as you swallow, and finishes with a very decent hop bite on the back end. The aftertaste seemed to increase in hops with every passing sip. Overall, a great beer, and an excellent stout.

Not bad at all; a wonderful take on the sweet stout genre, with a nicely balanced creamy chocolate flavor.

This stuff is fantastic. I’ve never had anything like it before. Some hops in aroma, but flavor is chocolate, a tiny bit of bitterness in the aftertaste just so that you don’t get overwhelmed by any sweetness. Perfectly balanced. But it is a pretty simple taste, kind of one-dimensional. Good nonetheless. I wish it had a little more complexity, maybe some more roasted malts.

Bottled(500ml). -Black coloured, huge dark brown head, chocolate nose. Slight roasted malt and milk chocolate aroma with notes of dark chocolate and smoke. Smooth, pleasant chocolate finish and chocolate cake like aftertaste.

Oh yeah! Coffee, chocolate, and dark as night. Not as heavy as most of the great stouts I’ve had, seemed more like the consistancy of a porter. Great beer, but the sweetness got to be enough for me after one pint.

Had a bottle of this tonight. This brew pours an almost black dark brown. The generous frothy head is on the edge of creamy and the color of brown sugar. Though the lacing was only slightly above fair, the head was fully lasting as exemplified by the 2 full inches plus of foam remaining at the bottom of my glass upon my last gulp. The complex nose (much more so than the flavor) is primarily (you guessed it) roasted dark chocolate malts, with hints of flowers, perfume, mold, plum, toffee, vanilla, and alcohol. The warm fruity and flowery flavor is balanced with a heavy roasted chocolate bittersweet finish of longish duration. The medium to full lively body is syrupy and creamy with a clean dry finish. I wouldn’t take it over a Guinness, but I can say that about alot of the Stouts I’ve tried.
