Very smooth and tasty. It had practically had NO aftertaste, which is great in my book. It had a large, creamy head, and was very very dark. It was strong, yet never overpowering. This was very impressive to me.

Full-bodied, almost black appearance, good aroma, with a kind of smoky, rich dark malt and chocolate mix, don’t be fooled by the initial chocolaty taste, the flavor is not for everyone, but it is very well made, and it grows smoother with every sip, a good fireside beer.

All I can say is that I wish more breweries would use chocolate, and I’m not talking about chocolate malt. This beer is more like a desert. I would like to float in this sea of velvet which wouldn’t be too difficult, since it is pretty dense. A great combination and very well balanced all-around. The half liter bottle is not enough...

Sits in the glass in perfect black beauty. Thick creamy head. Plenty of cocoa in the aroma as well as molasass, licorice. Loads of wonderful chocolate flavor as promised. Not as full bodied as its appearance idicates, but very well balanced. A great treat after a big meal.

Mmmm, this was very good, wonderful dark appearance, hints of chocolate abound. A very good stout. A think this would be the perfect 'dessert' to end a great meal

Beautiful bubbles fromt the nitro can with a great thick head and chocolate aromas lifting up from the glass. Dark color and rich flavors witha lack of the normal bitterness.

I've been waiting for this package from my sister so I could rate this as my #300! A dark motor oil colored beer with a huge rocky brown head. Roasted barley, coffee and chocolate in the nose. Not the candied flavor I thought it might have but a mild cocoa taste, the roasted flavors take center stage with the chocolate and smoke playing supporting roles. A nice hop bite keeps this from being too sweet. A nice mixture of flavors, good balance but a bit thin bodied. One I will try again and again! Thanks Sis!
