Too bad the taste doesn’t match the great aroma. Still, a great stout.

Refreshing in that the taste was not overly sweet; a ’bitter chocolate’, if you will. Very well integrated and sultry. The proper name, as the bottle says, is ’Luxury Double Chocolate Stout’.

One of my favorite stouts. Beutiful tan head. Very smooth with a perfect hint of chocolate.

The very first taste is of a porter, but the bitterness rolls in shortly after that. Dark as sin. A very nice sipping beer when you don’t want to drink a heavy barley wine. I can imagine sitting there on a dark blustery night, sipping this beer, smoking whiskey dipped cigars, and listening to some rich music like Bach or Mozart!

Very thick, a must-try for stout fans. Smooth taste, the chocolate flavoring is just right. Unfortunately I didn’t quite finish my bottle when we arrived downtown for the night, so when we got there I had to dump it. But then I gave the bottle to a friend who is really good at throwing stuff, he launched it pretty far and it shattered impressively.

opaque, almost black, decent beige head, aromas of chocolate dominate, bitterness of dark chocolate lingers through the finish

Dark brown, with an aroma of dark chocolate. Wow...this is really chocolatey. Almost a little too sweet, actually. I'd prefer a little more hop to tone it down a little, but thats a minor complaint. This is one heck of a beer.

Draft at Sippin By the River fest in Philly. Very good beer. Has a nice sweet stout at the start then the chocolate kicks is and lasts the rest of the beer.
