Like eating a semi-sweet chocolate cake -- thick, velvety smooth, dark, flavorful though not too complex.

On tap. WOW! This one came to me jet black with a very creamy tan head that left some good lacing. The flavor is amazingly smooth with a very mild chocolate flavor and a subtle hop kick. The best mouthfeel of any stout I've had. Highly recommended.

I can't believe I haven't rated this yet. I've been drinking quite a few of these lately and even had it on tap. This stuff is so smooth, creamy, and tasty. There's never a bad time to drink it. Dark chocolate, cocoa, with a bit of bitterness in the finish.

Very smooth and creamy. subtle chocolote tast. Great aroma. The only drawback is that it was just a bit flatter than I would have liked. Comparable to Guiness

The chocolate taste is so good. Longevity of the beer is fully lasting. Very good experience.

First thing is first, there was chocolate in the nose and the aftertaste reminded me of drinking chocolate syrup out of the bottle. not something I would want in the middle of summer, but it was a fun winter beer to have. It had a nice chewy palate, and a great dark brown colour with a soft foamy tan head.

Chocolate cke in a bottle? Yep! Not overly sweet, but very rich. One of these after dinner is a real treat.

A dark blackish coloured stout with a cafe-au-lait head. The "double chocolate" is most evident and using dark chocolate adds depth without unnecessary sweetness. The overall effect is a smooth and full bodied product with a buttery smoothness and nutty (slightly bitter) finish. The after-taste was slightly disappointing but the after-after-taste of lingering chocolate satisfaction more than made up for it.
