I’ve had this on draft nitro keg man I love the reverse cascade bubbles in the glass. The only other beer ive seen do that was Guiness.BRILLIANT ..Tons of flavor and very smooth and creamy chocolate abound the palate. Im glad this is available at the local brew pub and I have made a session. I really like the malt base they used on this everything seems to blend for awesome balance. This is a great beer by all measures. But of coarse im a stout head! Cheers.

From the bottle... fantastic frothy head with great retention. Dark color with sweet chocolate aroma. Like a small piece of chocolate in your mouth - great texture and fine balance with the hops. Nice lingering finish.

Nitro Keg and nitrocan. Dark chocolate appearance, moderately tall tan head. Initial flavor of coffee and then choclate when had on tap, yet vice versa when consumed from nitrocan. Also, slight metallic taste from nitrocan. Very comforting to drink-say in a Syracuse snowstorm. Definitely my favorite run of the mill stout.

nitrocan - jet black with 3/4" tan head lasting to the bottom; perhaps the strongest and smoothest of chocolate aromas and flavors i’ve ever enjoyed; just wonderful

Dark brown pour into thick creamy tan head that dissipates into sticky lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma of sweet dark chocolate, almost fudge. Creamy mouthfeel with an initial flavor of roasted malt and sweet dark chocolate. Slightly buttery finish with lingering bitter chocolate aftertaste. There was only one of these left on the singles shelf and now I know why. I’ll be seeking out a few more of these!

Coffee-like colour with a creamy tan head. Aroma is obviously chocolate. It’s also a very flavorful beer. Flavors of dark chocolate and some coffee. The aftertaste is a little dry, and has quite a bitterness to it. I loved it.
