| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 24, 2007 Bottle->English Pint: pours a slightly larger-than-average light brown head that is slightly rocky in appearance, exhibits good lacing, and provides a pitch black beverage beneath the head. The aroma is light on the malt, perhaps a bit of grain and some nutty tinges. There is a hint of chocolate aroma and a bit of charcoal (pleasant) about it. The texture of the beer is light in the body, but creamy with a metallic aftertaste. The duration of the flavor is short, but providing a mildly sweet aftertaste. I probably served this a bit colder than I should’ve--will drink another warmer (served @ 35 degrees at the present). ford9719 (369), Vilseck, Germany

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 11, 2007 bottle poured a fairly dark black in color with a three finger head of carbination that became a layer of dark tan head. aroma of sweet roast, caramel, malt, cocoa chocolate, and perhaps some light fruit. flavor is medium creamy, good roasted qualities, some malt bite, does have some hops that came out as it warmed a bit, , fruit is stretching it a bit but there is some sweetness that counters the malt nicely. definitely an oatmeal stout with the right mix to be a session brew, the bitters seem to take from the creamy qualities but easy to drink none the less. would think this would taste better as a nitro can, and the chocolate brew balanced the flavors better. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 2, 2007 Nice dark brown normal stout look. Very creamy but thin. Winter roasted taste with a bit of hops on the finish. Just a little to drinkable for an oatmeal stout. thegreenrooster (1835), St.louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Pour is a jet black with a nice tan creamy head. Aroma is hard to come by. Some chocolate i guess. Flavor is also difficult to find. Some roasted malts but not much else. Finish is very watery. Not a real good stout.
