A beautifully hand crafted beer with an exceptionally smooth palette and a fruity aroma. A dark, ruby-coloured stout, almost black from a distance, with a beautiful creamy head. Fuggles and Goldings hops. 20% Slovenian Goldings added 10 minutes befofe end of boil.

Black with a nice head. It’s a nice oatmeal stout, but no where near the big ones like Samuel Smiths Oatmeal Stout or Jämtland Oatmeal Porter. It’s a wee bit sharper and has no fine middle notes, is more roasted and bitter - without much else to offer. It’s OK, but an oatmeal stout should have a better and smoother body. I need to re-taste this some day.

Very dark with faint red highlights. Thick tan head. Not a real big time aroma, mainly toasted malt. Palate was oily, hoppy and chocolately. Not my favorite.

Bottled. A beautiful black beer with a big creamy head. Light roasty aroma. The flavour has notes of chocolate and coffee. Soft mouthfeel, light/medium body and medium bitterness. A very nice beer.

500 ML Bottle-Poured black w/a slight tan head. Chocolate/roasted coffee aroma. Kind of a standard stout-flavors of coffee & chocolate, maybe a little touch of carbonation & sweetness you don’t usually see in a stout. Long bitter finish. Solid, but not spectacular.

Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, toffee, dark fruit, and oatmeal. Taste is much the same with oaty sweetness amid coffee flavors. Finish is balanced and slightly bitter. Mouthfeel is just right. Very nice.
