A beautifully hand crafted beer with an exceptionally smooth palette and a fruity aroma. A dark, ruby-coloured stout, almost black from a distance, with a beautiful creamy head. Fuggles and Goldings hops. 20% Slovenian Goldings added 10 minutes befofe end of boil.

Bottle, Pours a dark deep brown that is just faintly lighter at the edges with a tight tall tan head. Aroma is of toasted nuts and dusty carpet. There is some sweet vinegar notes poking around as well. The body is light on the pallate and feels very thin and silky. A strong contrast to the frothy heavy head. Flavors of toasted nuts, weak caramel malts and notes of watery dark fruit, plums maybe. Certainly a beer for certain occasions, but not one that you’ll find in my fridge regularly.

draft. dark brown with a fairly decent head. aroma is bready and twangy. taste is rich and thick with a coffee/cocoa aftertaste. but finishes very smooth and thin. flavor is gone fast. not bad if you want a lighter oatmeal stout.

Pours deep brown, does that wonderful infused nitrogen-based continuous bubbling. Rich, dense, tan, foam head. Pleasant, mild, fall oatmeal aroma. Rich and mild, mooth stout flavor that is mellow and relaxing. The malt is perfect. Feel is just right. Finish is full and mellow.

500 ml shapely bottle, drink by Feb 2009. Very dark, nice beige head. Fair amount of carbonation on top of a medium body. Slightly charred aroma and taste are what stands. Otherwise, slightly fruity with dry finish.

The color is a dark brown almost black. The head is an off tan color with an aroma of malts, and fruity scents. The taste is roasted malt, with slight flavors of coffee, and chocolate. Medium palate and nice lacing

generally good aroma and flavor. I find the palette a little thin for my taste. Not a bad stout.

Nice dark pour, goes down smooth as silk with a nice oat flecked flavor and a woody finish. Only flaw is that it’s slightly too watery but what can you do.
