A beautifully hand crafted beer with an exceptionally smooth palette and a fruity aroma. A dark, ruby-coloured stout, almost black from a distance, with a beautiful creamy head. Fuggles and Goldings hops. 20% Slovenian Goldings added 10 minutes befofe end of boil.

Pours dark brown with a thick tan head. Sufficiently sweet with notes of caramel, vanilla, and roasted grains. Nice malty finish. Excellent oatmeal stout.

0.5l - Black liquid under dark tan head of small bubbles. Superior lacing and a wonderful roasted nose. All downhill from there. Watery texture with good flavor, fading to an awful metallic taste. Eeh.

Red tinged blak body without a head, although that might have been the effect of the glass. Berries and a touch of sweetness in the aroma. Tangy taste then a mild bitterness which increases during the flavour profile. Very burnt finish and a bit overly roasted for me to enjoy personally.

This dark brown ale poured with a modest tan head and a chocolate aroma. The flavor is rich with notes of chocolate and roasted malt. The hops provide a bittering balance, making this a tasty brew.

Dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of oatmeal, cookie, roasted malts, mild chocolate and fruit. Smooth and creamy with a medium body. Taste of roasted malts, oatmeal, chocolate with a mild dry finish. Decent, but not great.

This is an exceptional stout. I thought it was just fantastic, and along the same vein as St. Ambroise stout, which is a very good thing. If the mouthfeel on this stout was a nice as that of a 6-7% stout, this one would be worldclass in my opinion. The roastiness is dry, light, and sweet roasty which makes for a great stout. I loved this beer.

Thin light brown head, poured a deep amber color with a smooth sweet chocolate and almost citrusy smell. Tastes of caramel with a slight bitter finish. Light and smooth for a stout.

In a bottle, this pours deep black. Dark like the devil’s soul....sweet smell. Really smells like smokey molasses.....very little head on this beer...and sinks right away. When you taste it though....its sweet and not much oatmeal...which is what I wanted...but still...really delicious. I didn’t eat anything while I drank this, and still....I came away with a full stomach sensation. Chocolate drifts came with the second taste....just nice....not great...but really nice.
