pours a very dark brown with a mocha head. a bit dry and chocolaty on the nose and almost milky. taste is very refreshing and light for a stout, though it makes for an easy drinker. flavors of coffee and malt fill the mouth. a smooth, well brewed beer.

Jul 14, 2008 500mL Bottle: Pours dark brown, almost black w/ a medium sized brown head that splits rather quickly, leaving minimal lacing behind. Sweet roasted malt aroma, a little light chocolate in there too. Flavor holds some nice roasted malts similar to the aroma. Nice smooth beer, but not great. Eh...

Jul 12, 2008 Black/brown pour. Flavor is fairly standard for an oatmeal stout, but something is missing. Not quite right in the mouth or finish. OK, I’m guessing the draught is much better, as is the case with their double chocolate stout, which I absolutely love.

Jul 11, 2008 Pours dark brown with a thick tan head. Sufficiently sweet with notes of caramel, vanilla, and roasted grains. Nice malty finish. Excellent oatmeal stout.

Jul 11, 2008 0.5l - Black liquid under dark tan head of small bubbles. Superior lacing and a wonderful roasted nose. All downhill from there. Watery texture with good flavor, fading to an awful metallic taste. Eeh.
