pivnizub (3638), Porúří, Germany Apr 2, 2008 Bottle: Greenish-golden, smaller white head, moderate sweet-grainy nose with very faint illusions of a mild grassy hoppiness; light to moderate, almost a bit dryish, bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; slightly lingering, dryish grassy hoppy finish. Nothing really unpleasant detectable, but all in all a rather unimpressive Pils.........
shrubber85 (2433), Wallhalben, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany Jul 18, 2008 Bottle. Grass hops and malt flavor. Pale yellow color with small head. Creamy malt and bitter grassy hops flavor. Good beer - pretty much a standard German pils. MoritzF (3648), Ruhrpott, Germany Apr 1, 2008 (bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with short foamy white head. Light-sweet grainy malty nose, slightly herbal with a tinge of honey and citrus. Medium-sweet flavour, light bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Soft grainy taste with subtle notes of honey and herbal hops; moderately dry, slightly bitter and faint hoppy finish. Just a decent Pils (01.04.08). StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Apr 25, 2006 Tap. Transparent and pale goldenrod in color with a creamy off-white head and marshmallow lacing. Freshly baked lemon-buttered crescent rolls form aroma alliances with honeycomb, kneaded dough and some herbaceous stems amidst grass fields. A little flat and loose liquidity register first for flavor. Fresh baker’s dozen runs a bready gamut. Hum drum light green hops create melancholy with a lemon-zest dropped over a loaf of Wonderbread with margarine saturated crust. Lacking body, carbonation and complexity. Basically a bready, loafing take on a pils, concluded by a lemon shortbread afterlife.
