Commercial Description:
Named for a local landmark, this medium bodied red ale has a toasty maltiness and a pleasing hop presence. Its rich flavor goes great with a burger.

Color here is a lovely uburn, and the head is generous, creamy, honeycombed with tiny bubbles, and cast in a nearly pinkish shade. Aroma: puzzling at first, minerally, dry, and dull, but soon showing itself to be vigorously toasty, malt having a hammerlock on this, but not to any extreme. Nice hoppiness, warm and fuzzy, medium bodied, nicely textured. Flavor arises again and again, never quits, delivers malty, toasty tones that are a joy to sip with each meeting between cup and lip! There's a spicy, zingy kick in it...I like, I like...

Pours deep amber with a medium head. This beer shows notes of yeasty maly with nice notes of carmel. These flavors show on the palate with decent amount of light bitterness. One of the best amber that I have had in a long time.

Pours an amber color with a large foamy off white head with some suspended particulates. Nose is hoppy, earthy, touch of grass, fruits, caramel. Initial taste is earthy, toffee, citrus. Mid palate to finish develops that piney sharp hop balance with a touch fruits and malt backbone. Palate duration is above average. Good head retention. Medium body. Very drinkable probably my favorite amber ale so far.

Pours deep amber with an enourmous off white head. Aroma is sweet and earthy malts. Taste is fruity, apples? and nice mellow hops. The aftertaste is bitter slightly on the tounge. A good beer all around.

Pours deep amber into a shaker. Conglomerate head gradually recedes with slight lacing. Grapefruit and grass notes. Full mouthfeel, but slightly flat with upfront roasted caramel which turns to a lasting spruce finish which turns back to a (not unpleasant) frat floor malt.

Has a clear amber color with a malted smell. Taste is malted and finishes rather smooth. Overall a pretty good beer form a local brewery.

Bottle: Good nose, nutty carmel. Great clear orange red color. I get a kinda nutty toasted malt with a little green hops taste. Finishes with a malty clean taste. Vey nice indeed. This brewer is coming on strong in Mass

bottle from bmartin08...I was shocked at much I enjoyed this beer, I’m not normally a fan of ambers, but the hops on this one caught me off guard! Very pleasant dry hopped taste/aroma, would definitely buy again if it were available by me
