pivnizub (3638), Porúří, Germany May 22, 2008 Bügelverschlußflasche: A bit unclear, amber coloured, small, but stable beige foamy layer; caramelly and toasted-malty nose with a strong hoppy spine; solid sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, a bit sticky; solid bitter and caramelly finish with an illusion of smoked malt in the aftertaste. Very pleasant stuff MoritzF (3648), Ruhrpott, Germany Apr 30, 2008 (swing top bottle) Slightly hazy, dark amber to chestnut colour with a big, but diminishing light-beige frothy head. Yeasty, slightly sweet, slightly sour doughy toast-malty aroma with light notes of caramel, berry fruits and lighter hoppy accents. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy, slightly fizzy carbonation. Dark malt-character, toasty taste with caramel and a subtle fruity touch; medium-dry, slightly bitter and toasted finish with a fine herbal hoppy note and a yeasty and caramel-malty aftertaste. Well-matured and quite tasty brew (30.04.08).
