Oct 28, 2009 Gravity cask at Redlight Redlight. Pours a mostly clear, medium golden hue with a small, fading head of smooth, off-white foam. Minimal, wet spotting marks the glass. The aroma is ultra-clean and bready, showing notes of light toast, dough, and creamy pils malt in the background. Surprisingly hoppy, with notes of peppery flowers and fresh grass, the balance is superb. Flavors show the same, excellently balanced between a creamy, doughy, pils malt profile and biting grassy hop bitterness. Medium bodied and balanced as can be, the palate is simply smooth as silk. This stuff is sessionable for hours on end, yet each sip remains completely satisfying. Good stuff. Reason #1,247 why I need to go spend some time in Germany.

Oct 23, 2009 gravity cask @ redlight redlight. Malty nose, sweet with grassy notes. Pours pretty clear with a slight haze, golden blonde with a creamy thick white head. Malty with some light fruit notes, with grassy hops, not very complex but extremely drinkable!

Oct 23, 2009 Gravity cask at redlight redlight. This is a very light golden lager. It isn’t all that complex but it is very refreshing especially in Florida where it is late October and still 90+ degrees outside. Seriously, I hate the weather here.

Sep 19, 2009 tapped at City Beer. Nice cloudy yellow color with a quickly dissipating head. Grainy notes, with apple flavors, and some hrbs and bitter hops in the finish. Nice.

Jul 20, 2009 Ceramic mug. Rich herbal aroma is spicy with complex malt toastiness and fresh hop. Farmhouse...rustic character with minerals, earth and dry herbal hopping. Quality and balance. Delicious example. Re-samples at Tapas Bar have backed this up.

Jul 15, 2009 Draft, in Krug, nice thin but tight white head. Nice light golden color. Smells very fresh of grain, sweet and husky. Low carbonation. Flavors are smooth, husky, dry, woody, cedar, apple, apple skin, and good metals.

Mar 4, 2009 Bayerische Anstich@Akkurat, Stockholm. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, earth, some bittery notes, diacetyl and mild notes of yeast. Flavour is hops, grass, malts and some slight yeasty notes.
