Rastacouere (5258), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Feb 11, 2008 Poured beside their new Centennial Wheat IPA, this looked very clear indeed. Pale and golden. A small touch of wheat complements the clean, pale malt profile. A bit too thick to be crisp, though it’s still actively carbonated. Spicy and bready ale whose esters are fruity, even banana-like and hops aromas rather timid, perhaps lightly flowery. Quite sweet on the palate and displaying no balancing acidity nor bitterness. More attenuation and who knows how enjoyable it could get.
