| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 13, 2009 This is a good amber beer, very similar to Michelob Amber Bock. No strong bitterness or bold taste is present here, but it holds its own against other similar ones. This is nothing to go out of one’s way for, but all in all a nice beer.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 21, 2009 Tasted on draft at the Houston-Bush Int. Airport....Looks good...Decent head and mild malt aroma...Medium body, bit of carbonation, mild malt flavor...A typical macro amber...Nothing offensive, drinkable, and good for what it is... | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 24, 2009 Bottle: Pours a dark amber color with a light thin fizzy head. The nose is lightly sweet and malty with some alcohol, corn and caramel. The flavor is thin with a vague mouthfeel. Abundant sugars albeit a thin body in the finish. Not that much going on. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 8, 2009 On draft at an Houston Aero’s hockey game. Aroma is almost nonexistant, maybe a touch of maltyness. Dark amber with a light tan head. Smooth lager that is easy to drink(as expected), but lacks the complexity to be consider a true bock. Then again, I didn’t expect much more from AB. Not bad, but not good either. Narnad (720), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 26, 2009 Pours a clear amber color with a tall, bubbly, off-white head. Aroma has a mild toasted note, some low citrus hops with an overall sweet nose. Flavor has a lot of toffee and caramel malt notes, very low amount of hops (if any at all), lots of carbonation and an overall sweet brew. Thin texture, light body and high carbonation. Overall not offensive but it does carry a very sweet Macro flavor. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Pours deep amber with notes of toasty malts. Palate shows the deep nuttiness of the malts and gives a bit of citrus from the hops. A nice finish and decent for a Bud product. JaBier (1261), Capital City, Ohio, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 12, 2009 Bottle shared by Dogbrick. Pours clear amber with a thin beige head. Caramel aroma with a hint of fruit and hops. Sweet malt with some caramel flavor and some crisp hops at the end. Pretty weak on the flavor and thin, but otherwise okay. bhensonb (4358), Woodland, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 22, 2009 Only available in Texas, unless you connect with ericandersnavy. Pours brilliant copper with a fluffy beige head. Aroma of roast caramel with some nuts and fruits. Near medium body with average carbonation. Flavor is roast caramel with some flattish dark fruit aspects. Seems to be astringent. Not all that sweet, seems to have some balancing bitter. Pretty good for AB. kimcgolf (835), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Poured from the tap (into a larger schooner) to a medium amber brown with thin tan head that dissipated fairly quickly and left slight lacing. Nose was fairly hard to find, but hinted of malty dark fruit and caramel, which were a little more noticeable in the taste. Mouthfeel a little on the thin side, but at least the intense graininess found in many AB products was not present.
Not bad for a macro-beer distributed regionally.
