Aubrey (2614), Denver, Colorado, USA Jun 6, 2008 Copper-orange color. Dark and toasty caramel malts; surprisingly flavorful, especially given the low ABV. Light, watery texture. Flowery hops and a healthy amount of them. Decent bitterness to boot. Nice and refreshing IPA, albeit thin. douglas88 (820), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA May 26, 2008 My first Zion Canyon beer bought at a supermarket outside of Bryce Canyon National Park. Zion Canyon beers are only distributed in Southwest Utah as of today. Pours a clear amber with a nice white head. The aroma is mostly rich caramel malt and some light floral hops. The taste was well balanced between a rich caramel malt and a metallic/bitter hops. Pretty darn good. Enjoyable. urbnhautebourg (934), Annapolis, Maryland, USA May 21, 2008 On draft, this exhibited a huge amount of flowery hops. It was a pleasure to drink and, at 4% ABV, exhibited tremendous flavor, given the alcohol restrictions the brewer has to observe. Excellent. sunevdj (1482), Copenhagen OE, Denmark May 13, 2008 On tap at Oscars Cafe, Springdale. Pours a clear dark amber with a diminishing head. Low sweetness, quite bitter. Some caramel aromas. Bittering hops, but lacks a bit on aromas hops. Low carbonation. Light to medium bodied. Tastes a lot like an amber lager with a bit of extra hops added... I guess it’s bottom fermented. dwyerpg (2094), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Sep 5, 2006 Well, this is a pretty tame IPA. Not much aroma and a bit of noticeable malts. Pretty nice throughout at the start, but the longer I drank the beer the lower my score became.
