Pours dark ruby/ black with a moderate tan head. The nose is strong with roasted coffee, molasses and dark chocolate. The taste starts with chocolate and coffee. Vanilla comes next with a roasty/ hoppy finish. Mouthfeel is medium/thin. Light carbonation gives it a creaminess. A nice stout.

Oct 25, 2008 Pours a nice dark brown color, nice carbonation, nice little fizzy tan head, which does leave some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, with some hops, slight coffee/toffee notes. The taste is malty, nice balance of hops, some bitterness, slight coffee/toffee notes. Medium body. Drinkable, this is a very nice session stout.

Oct 24, 2008 Bottle thanks to Wasatch. Pours a dark brown color with a small white head. The aroma is mostly roasted coffee and malts. The taste is quite nice; easygoing roasted malts, some coffee, near coca cola flavor. Very enjoyable.

Aug 28, 2007 Smelled quite soured-bad. The taste was better than the smell. Some light coffee notes and it seemed a bit thin and metallic. Flavor just can’t overcome the bad aroma.
