Totally a summer beer. Reminds me of fresh mown grass. More sour than sweet. Tastes like a premium-grade Bud. Slightly bitter aftertaste!

Sep 6, 2008 Tap. Pours a clear straw-gold with a small white head. Aroma is grassy hops with a bit of spice thrown in for good measure. Taste is malt and grain, with barely-there spice and floral hops detectable at the end. It’s surprisingly complex for the style.

Aug 31, 2008 Bottle. This is not 12%...it’s 5%. Pours like a light lager with a small head. Aroma is like a typical bad import with some grass and weak hops. Too sweet from the malt and little or no body- mostly grass flavored water. Very boring and too expensive. Simply another disappointing exotic import. A totally butchering of the Bohemian Pilsner style. Would not recommend.

Aug 23, 2008 Pours pale gold with weak head. The aroma is grainy, sugary malt sweet along with floral hoppiness. It smells pretty good for the style. The taste has malty and graininess to go along side a pulse of spice and floral hops. Just as in the aroma this seems pretty solid for the style.

Aug 22, 2008 The aroma is bitter and skunkie with faint hops. The body is cloudy yellow with a small cream head. Taste startes of with a sour bite then a corn and grass taste. dry crisp finish with good carbonation.

Aug 21, 2008 Bottle. Poured a hazy golden-straw color with a fluffy white head that didn’t last.
Nice malt aroma with a pretty good hop presence. Nice bready malty flavor with a well balanced hop bite. Medium mouthfeel for an easy drinking lager.
I liked this, especially sice it wasn’t skunked despite being in a green bottle.
