Cletus (5002), Connecticut, USA Aug 12, 2009 Pours gold with a white head. Smells of toasted malt and fruity. Tastes fruity and toasty with a tarte, citrussy finish. Ughsmash (3981), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Dec 29, 2007 Bottle, thanks to Jay. Poured clear medium orange with a short-lived cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up slightly sour toasted grains, caramel, and some lighter fruits coming through on the back. The flavor had lightly sour medium-skinned fruit skins and caramel at the core with more graininess around the edges and some faint grassy bitterness.. sticky caramel finish picked up a couple odd, prickly booze notes. Lighter-bodied with a slick and rather unpleasant feel on the palate.. sourness shouldn’t have been there.. tacky on the back. Drinkable, but that’s about it. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 11/05/2005

kenb (1100), Oregon, USA Aug 13, 2007 12 oz bottle via trade (thanks to whoever sent this!). Pours a crystal clear reddish amber with a small head that dissappears almost instantly. Nose is yeasty and slightly malty. Not much in the taste dept. Slightly fruity, sugary, nutty. Light body bordering on watery. Moderate/high carbonation. I think the filtration really neuters what this beer could be. An ok backyard beer, but nothing more. shigadeyo (2210), Harrison, Ohio, USA Jun 2, 2007 5/06/2007: Cancun Morena Dark Lager pours a transparent, shiny copper/light amber color. It has a moderate level of visible carbonation and a fizzy, very quickly dissipating, off-white head. The aroma is malty with some chocolate and roasty undertones. This beer has a good malty flavor. It is moderately sweet and has a very small amount of roasted caramel and a hint of butter in the flavor as well. Thks beer has medium, smooth, and satisfying body that is slightly creamy. It is also calm on the palate. Overall Cancum Morena is a surprisingly well-done Vienna that would taste great any time - especially right after mowing the lawn (which was when I had this one)!
12 oz bottle (Best if enjoyed by: Month 10, Week 2) from decaturstevo (Apr 2007). Thanks Steveo!
jsquire (2087), St. Marys, Ohio, USA May 5, 2007 Light amber beer out of the bottle, with a fading biege head. Syrupy sweet nose with some dark sugars. This beer is just too sweet. Lots of white sugar, thin caramel, and light toast. what grains that are here do not really add much character. This is just too sweet. CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA Mar 11, 2007 Sampled on 8/3/06: Pours a clear dark bronze with a thin ring of white head. Aroma has some sweet toasty caramel maltiness. Body starts sweet with good Vienna caramel maltiness, some grainy character and a touch of noble hops. A nice, easy drinking Vienna. jeffc666 (1886), Fairfax, Virginia, USA Jan 19, 2007 Hey its Zuma not Zima, or as the scantily clad lady in Greens Beverages who was pushing this beer (N.B., I did not buy this it was sent to me be goldtwins), its like a hoppier Corona. Wow I am really looking forward to this. Smells like apple juice and tastes remarkably the same. Very plain, I guess that is why they needed the scantily clad lady at the beer store.
