I was excited to find out exactly what style this was listed as, because I couldnt place it to much other than a poor example of a Mexican adjunct lager. It had a pale yellow body, slightly ameliorated by some light orange hues. Disipating head. Clear. Aroma of DMS, quite unmistakeable (old veggies, butterscotch, kind of like candied yams and sweet potatoes). Sour corn, which I find it hard to believe this is not brewed with, despite the commercial descriptions claim of all malt. My notes do speak of hops on the end, so I will give them that one. Just a touch of herbal, grassy bitterness. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not here to trash Mexican corn lagers, I love Modelo Especial, but this one just didnt cut it. DMS aroma, sour corn flavor, horribly watery texture. This kicked off what would be a long streak of terrible beer in TN. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA

I am shocked to see I have a pilsner from Atlanta. Ive never even heard of these guys. Anyways the apperance is a light yellow color with no head. The aroma is corn flakes and lemons. The flavor is a bit sour with a definite corn presence. I catch some lemons and grass as well. Overall its nothing special at all. It kills me that Dogwood can go under and crap like this continues to rock on in Hotlanta. Suttree (2742), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 8, 2004 Light golden body, short head, no lacing. This is one corny tasting brew - sugary sweet and vegetal. Very little hop presence doesn’t help matters either. I do like the blue lizard on the label. Thanks Jacob! aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 27, 2004 Turns out that the brewery says this is all barley, but I swear I took one whiff and it was all cooked corn. Obviously, if there wasn’t any corn, this beer is seriously off. Pale yellow golden body is really clear and almost catches the light nicely, but isn’t quite dark enough. The head is bone white and fades quickly. The flavor would be nice without the corn flaw and if they dumped in a bunch of Saaz hops. Has potential, but this new brewery needs to clean up some problems. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 17, 2004 Cancun is a bright, yellow colored beer typical of most Pilsners.
The aroma is off a bit, but there is a good hop and malt presence there along with a sharp vinegar aspect to it.
The flavor is a light clean sweetness, but a bit more bitterness would really help this Pilsner to suit my palate. But overall, this is a very drinkable Pilsner. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 9, 2004 Pours pale gold. Aroma of malt, hopcit, corn. Taste has hints of malt, hops, citrus, and a smooth finish. Light palate. Thanks to belgianhomebrew for the trade. YourDarkLord (1800), Urbana, Illinois, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 16, 2004 This just didn’t cut it. Don’t care for pilseners and this doesn’t change that. Slight hops aroma with some funky side aroma. Lightly carbonated. Watery texture. Flavor was bitter and sour. Not terrible but nothing noteworthy. Sorry.
