Pours gold with a white head. Smells of sweet malt, some spicy hints, floral hops. Tastes of dry pilsner malt, lightly spicy and peppery with some perfumy hints and fruity splashes.

Pours pale gold. Aroma of malt, hopcit, corn. Taste has hints of malt, hops, citrus, and a smooth finish. Light palate. Thanks to belgianhomebrew for the trade.

2005 GCBC. Light malt aroma. Malt flavor is slightly sweet. Light and clean. Not a whole lot going on. Which can be good I guess.

A pilsener?? Is that a f**king joke? I was excited to find out exactly what style this was listed as, because I couldnt place it to much other than a poor example of a Mexican adjunct lager. It had a pale yellow body, slightly ameliorated by some light orange hues. Disipating head. Clear. Aroma of DMS, quite unmistakeable (old veggies, butterscotch, kind of like candied yams and sweet potatoes). Sour corn, which I find it hard to believe this is not brewed with, despite the commercial descriptions claim of all malt. My notes do speak of hops on the end, so I will give them that one. Just a touch of herbal, grassy bitterness. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not here to trash Mexican corn lagers, I love Modelo Especial, but this one just didnt cut it. DMS aroma, sour corn flavor, horribly watery texture. This kicked off what would be a long streak of terrible beer in TN.

From the bottle this pours very light golden, perfectly transparent, with a thin fast falling white head. Aroma of corn, faint malts, and no hops. Taste was thin and clean with a slightly slimey mouthfeel. At least there wasn’t much skunked flavor in this.

Bright yellow, no head/ Cereal aroma. Subtle malt and a hint of rye in the flavor. Smooth palate, a bit richer than I expected. Surprisingly not bad.

Appearance: Pours a clear, light golden body with a small, white head. Smell: Light pale malts with a bit of lemon and honey. Taste: Light pale malts with a taste of sweet honey and slight hint of grain. Touch of lemon juice. Very mild hop character and bitterness. Quick, clean finish. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Can’t wait to try their next release! Cancomin’ right up soon, right? Right??
