duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Oct 19, 2007 Draught@Bruxellensis. Quite, caramelly and generally quite malty. Some brown sugar sweetness at the start, although it does finish quite dry. Nutty. yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 28, 2007 On tap at Berliner Bier-festival. Hazy, orange beer with an off-white head. Quite fruity nose with grapefruit. The flavor much the same, but a bit cellarish. Grapefruit and fruit in the finish. Medium body. Quite pleasant, but not the typical dunkel. (070805) Mes_and_Sim (4484), Highgate, Greater London, England Sep 18, 2007 A Mes rate:
Draught at Bruxellensis. Chestnut brown with a decent off white head. Caramel malt aroma with very slight hops and herbs. Actually pretty good. Flavour does not live up to the promise of the aroma however. Sweet and malty with a little spice but all too relaxed for me. Bit of balance from the hoppy note in the finish but overall not that great. harrisoni (5359), Ashford, Kent, England Sep 18, 2007 On tap at Bruxellensis. Attractive dark brown chesnut colour with lasting beige head. Decent dunkel, some dark malts. Some light prickle on the tongue. It’s very drinkable but lacks intensity. JoeinUccle (689), Brussels, Belgium Sep 11, 2007 On tap @ Bruxellensis. Brown beer with amber highlights, off-white, lacey head. Faint aroma of roasted malts and smoked pork. Slightly sweet, slightly sour flavor like wet, toasted rye bread, with some coffee and biscuit. Medium-bodied and a bit wet.
